Members will pay $10 less for WPGA Junior Tour tournament entry fees in 2012. (Entry fees for members will be $35 and $45 for nonmembers). Also receive a $5 discount on Players Tour and $4 discount on Future tour events.
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP CARD & BAG TAG
This card will provide you with a WSGA Handicap number if you applied for membership with handicap. It will also have space for you to write down your login and password for BlueGolf. Each WPGA Junior member will be sent a personalized bag tag.
PREREGISTER FOR EVENTS ONLINE
Beginning April 20, 2012 members can register on-line prior to mailed entries being accepted.
Members registering online prior to May 4, will be guaranteed entry into all but one of their selections.
Member only events. Sign up early for these because they are sure to fill up quickly.
You may get all of your choices but can only be bumped out of 1 event.
After May 4, all non-members can register for tournaments along with mailed junior member entries.
Take advantage of this period to become a junior member and register for events you want to play in before they fill up
BLUEGOLF
The BlueGolf program will allow our Junior Golfers to:
· Register and pay for membership and tournaments online
· Interactive online calendar of events
· Create player profiles with pictures
· Receive tournament and results online via email
· Track scoring averages
· View player scorecards from current and previous events
· View up-to date Player of the Year Points
· View course info, scorecards, directions, weather and more
BlueGolf also offers an additional feature with its Players Club Membership. (This may be purchased online while applying for membership). The cost is $20 for the year. The benefits of the Players Club Membership are:
· Tracking of Greens in Regulation, Putts per round and Fairways Hit
· In-Depth analysis on your strengths and weaknesses from the season
JUNIOR PACKET & PLAYER OF THE YEAR POINTS
Members will receive a junior packet in April that includes tournament entries, golf camps, and other junior tournaments statewide. *You Must be a Junior Member to receive Player of Year Points*.
WSGA ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Members will receive a WSGA handicap if you do not currently have one with another golf course. This will also allow members to participate in local and state amateur events. WPGA Junior Members receive a special discounted rate on a WSGA Associate Membership and will also receive an emailed subscription to
Wisconsin Golfer magazine. Magazine is now only available online.
