As the Director of Operations and the lead instructor for The First Tee of Milwaukee County I have a passion to teach young adults by example.
Golf has given me experiences I could have never imagined and friendships that will last a lifetime. Giving back to a game and an organization that has given me so much only seems fitting.
Golf was never my sport growing up, I only started playing three years before I started teaching for a living. I always enjoyed running long distances, getting away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
By supporting my running of the Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon you will be supporting The First Tee of Milwaukee County.
Sustaining a fun environment for all juniors wanting to excel in the game of golf and in life is my vision. Help me support my vision by making a contribution to my Second Annual Run for a Cause.

Half of all money raised will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began when several individuals took small, inspired actions to help others in need. One night while watching the evening news, veterans and friends were moved by stories of the first wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq. They realized something needed to be done for these brave individuals beyond the brass bands and ticker tape parades. They wanted to provide tangible support for the severely wounded to help them on the road to heal both physically and mentally. What they viewed as a small contribution compared with what the warriors had sacrificed is now WWP’s signature program: WWP backpacks delivered bedside to wounded warriors.
Wounded Warrior Backpacks contain essential care and comfort items including, clothing, toiletries, calling card, CD player, and playing cards, all designed to make their hospital stay more comfortable. They are provided to severely wounded service members arriving at military trauma centers.
I was introduced to this organization by a PGA Tour player that has a big heart when it comes to anything that can help our service men and women, Frank Lickliter II.
As an American and a supporter of anyone that puts on a uniform to protect this country and our freedom, I think we should do our part to take care of the wounded that come home from war.
